Welcome to the Applysia Support Portal!

Here, you will find support for using our services and answers to your questions about our software. We have created articles on a wide range of topics and features.

Applysia supports you as an assessment software throughout all stages of the process—from planning to evaluation. The software consists of three areas:
  1. In the browser-based administration interface (Cockpit), you can create competency models, set up assessments, and manage accounts before the assessment. After the assessment, Applysia Insights provides you with data-driven insights into your processes, allowing you to generate automated results reports.
  2. During the assessment, you work in the Observer Interface (App), which can be used either browser-based or as a native iPad app. Here, you can evaluate and compare candidates.
  3. Using the Candidate Interface (Candidate Portal), you can interactively involve candidates in the assessment process. Documents, tests, and media files can be shared flexibly and dynamically with the candidates.

Applysia uses a sophisticated role concept to ensure the protection of your data at all times.
Depending on your
assigned role, you can access the observer interface and/or the administration interface. Not every user has access to both areas, as this depends on their respective role (for many users, the administration interface is less relevant).

Therefore, it is important to know which user role(s) have been assigned to you. You can see this in the invitation email you received from "Applysia" or a representative of your organization. The roles are as follows:
  1. Observer
    1. Access to the observer interface
    2. Participation in a (digital) assessment
  2. Administrator & Workspace Administrator
    1. Access to the administration interface
    2. Manage assessments & templates, users (& workspace)
If you have been assigned the "Observer" role, you will then be assigned one of four different observer roles with varying functions: regular observer, silent observer, lead observer, or moderator. You can find more information about these roles here. For more information on the roles "Administrator" and "Workspace Administrator," click here.

Introduction Video: Applysia Observer Interface

To help you get started with the Applysia observer interface, we have created a short introduction video for you. In just 5 minutes, we provide an overview of the observer interface and explain the basic functions of the software so that you can quickly learn the key features and start observing and evaluating an assessment.

Article Overview

All articles are organized in the folders "Observer Interface", "Administration Interface", and "Candidate Interface" in the main menu. You can also find answers to many frequently asked questions about using the observer and administration interfaces in the "FAQs" folder. To quickly access the articles relevant to you, below is a structured overview of all articles, including direct links to the respective articles.
The structure of the Support Portal is logically arranged and follows the structure of the software, allowing you to navigate through the articles and software in parallel. For most topics/pages, there is an overview article that briefly explains the basic function and all possible navigation options of the page.
