Self Assessment

Self Assessment

Relevant for: Organisation Administrators, Administrators (see "User Roles in the Cockpit")

On the "Edit template" page, you will see the "Self Assessment" section after the "General", "Settings", "Scale", "Scale Labels" and "Competency-Exercise-Matrix" sections.

Candidates can use the Self Assessment to evaluate themselves before, after or during the assessment. Candidates carry out the Self Assessment in the Candidate Portal. Therefore, make sure that the candidates can log in to the Candidate Portal. Further information can be found here.

Activate the Self Assessment by clicking on the slider on the right in the "Self Assessment" area. Self Assessment is deactivated for candidates by default. As soon as you have activated Self Assessment in the competency model, you will be shown advanced setting options.

You can make three different adjustments here:
  1. Activate the slider with a click to the right of "Rate competencies for each exercise" if you want candidates to carry out a Self Assessment for each exercise separately. Candidates will then see an overview of the exercises with the assigned competencies (as shown in the Requirement-Exercise-Matrix) and can assess themselves in the individual exercises

Please note that exercises cannot be assessed if you have not defined any competencies that are to be recorded in this exercise. This setting is deactivated by default

Candidates will then see an overview of all competencies that have been collected in the procedure and can assess themselves - regardless of the individual exercises. Further information can be found here.
  1. Activate the slider with a click to the right of "Competency Description" if the description of the individual competencies that you have stored in the Requirement-Exercise-Matrix should be visible to the candidates. This option is deactivated by default. Candidates will then only see the name of the respective competency and the Self Assessment scale.
  2. You also have the option of inserting an information text in the field under "Candidate Instruction", which will be displayed to candidates in the Candidate Portal. The information text is optional.
To deactivate the Self Assessment again, click on the slider again.

Once you have made your adjustments, click on "Save" at the top to save the changes. The window then closes automatically and you are back in the template overview.
