Single View: Reports

Single View: Reports

Relevant for: Normal observers, lead observers, moderators (see "User roles")
The "Reports" tab in the candidate single view is visible only if you are a moderator of the assessment.

When you click on the “Reports” tab in the bottom line, you will see an overview of the report template(s) that you have added to the assessment. A preview is always displayed here. Based on these templates, you can create candidate-specific result reports at the touch of a button.

Incorrect templates associated with an assessment will not be displayed in the observer interface, as no result reports can be generated from them. Please correct the template first to create a report based on it.

For more information on how to add report templates to an assessment, see here.

Click on “Generate report” under the name of the corresponding template on the basis of which you would like to create the results report. Depending on the complexity of the report template, it may take a moment for the report to be completed. Once the report is created, it will replace the previous template with assessment- and candidate-specific information. You will also see a timestamp of when the report was created or last updated. Depending on the format in which you uploaded the report template, you will receive the finished report in that format.

Click on the finished report to view it. A new page will open where you can review the report. At the top right, you can view set bookmarks by clicking the “bookmark” icon. In the newly appeared window on the right, you will see the bookmarks listed. Click on the “magnifying glass” icon to search for specific words in the document. A search field will appear at the top of the page where you can enter search terms. Close the search field by clicking the arrow at the top left.

At the bottom right, you can click the button with two rotating arrows to regenerate the report, for example, if you have added new notes that you also want to include in the report. A “Generating Report” prompt will appear. When you regenerate the report, the existing report you are currently viewing will be replaced. Click “Generate” to create a new report or “Cancel” to keep the current report. If you click “Generate,” after the new report is created, you will be redirected back to the overview page.
Depending on the complexity of the report template, it may take a moment for the report to be completed.

Click on the arrow at the bottom right to download the final report. A pop-up window will appear where you can choose the format in which you want to download the report. You have the option of the original file format of the report template you uploaded in the administration interface (Word or PowerPoint) and the PDF format. Check the boxes next to the desired fields and then click “Download”. If you want to cancel the process, click “Cancel”.

If you export the final result report as a PDF file, there may be changes in the PDF rendering, such as formatting issues. The optimal display is achieved when downloading the finished report in the original format of the template (Word or PowerPoint).

Alternatively, you can also regenerate the report from the overview page. If you have already generated the report once, you will see the “Update report” button and a timestamp. Click on this button to create an updated version of the report.
You will also see three dots on the right. Here you can also choose between “Update” and “Download”.

The finished result report also appears under the candidate-specific files in the “Report” tab. Navigate to the assessment overview page and click on the “folder” icon next to the name of the desired candidate. A new page will open with the candidate-specific files. Click on the report name to open and view it. More information can be found here.
Finished result reports are visible only to the moderators of an assessment.
