Overview
If you click on "Assess" in the bottom row on the left, you will first see an "Overview" of the competencies & Behavior Anchors to be assessed in the respective exercise, as well as the "Submit Ratings" button at the bottom of the page. Above the competencies & Behavior Anchors you will see a legend with scale labels. Only scale points to which an individual scale label is assigned are displayed here. Scale points without labeling are not displayed in the legend. If you have selected scale labels with symbols/characters instead of numbers, these are also not displayed in the legend.
Rating
By default, the rating scale is first hidden. To show it, click on "Rating" at the top of the left-hand side of the screen next to "Overview".
The stored scale - whether with numbers or individual symbols/characters - is then available for all competency assessments.
Here you can now give your rating of the Candidate's competencies based on Behavior Anchors.
The individual competencies or Behavior Anchors can be assessed in a variety of ways:
- Rating of a competency without Behavior Anchor
- Rating of the individual Behavior Anchors based on the defined scale points (see scale labels in the legend)
Rating of each Behavior Anchor based on user-defined scales that specify the Candidates' behavior for an Anchor
Please note that only the user-defined scale points to which a label has been added are displayed in the app. Further information on the user-defined scale can be found here.
Click on the circles next to the Behavior Anchors to rate an anchor. Subsequently, you will be given a recommendation for the Rating of the overall competency by means of a colored background. Click on the circles next to the competencies to rate them. You can also assess the competencies without having previously assessed the individual Behavior Anchors.
If you click on the scale points highlighted in the assessment-specific color, a tooltip opens with the scale label so that you can access the scale label at any time, even if you scroll down in the Assessment and no longer see the legend at the top. If you have stored an individual scale label using symbols/characters, you will see the same label in the tooltip as in the anchor points.
If the Assessment is still in Draft status, you cannot assess. You can click "Assess" in the Schedule and open the new page, but you cannot assess or make notes.
To save your entries (for each Candidate individually), click on "Submit Ratings" at the top right or at the end of the "Assess" page.
After clicking on the "Submit Ratings" button, a pop-up window appears informing you about the synchronization status. Here, the progress bar shows what percentage of the ratings and notes have already been synchronized. You also have the option to cancel the upload by clicking the "Cancel Upload" button.
A new pop-up window will appear with a warning that you will have to restart the synchronization if you stop the process now. If you are sure that you want to cancel the upload, click "Yes". The pop-up windows will close automatically and you will be back on the "Assess" page. Click "No" if you do not want to cancel the synchronization of the data; the upload will then continue. Once the upload is finished, you can "Close" the pop-up window or "Proceed with consolidation".
If you cancel the synchronization of the data, the notes and ratings are not saved. They are then only locally available for you, but cannot be viewed by the Moderators in the Consolidation.
During the Assessment you can open documents and make notes without deleting your input.
