iPad-App & Web-App

There are two ways to use the Applysia App: 
  1. As an iPad-App
  2. As a Web-App in the browser (device-independent). 
The main difference between the two options is the hardware with which the App is used; all other functions are almost identical. The only difference in usage is that only typed notes can be made in the Web-App and no handwritten notes. Of course, a combined use of the iPad- and Web-App is also possible. Handwritten notes from the App can therefore be viewed in the Web-App and vice versa.
Whenever only "App" is mentioned, both the iPad and the Web-App are meant. All of the following screenshots of the App were taken in the iPad App, but can be transferred 1 to 1 to the Web-App.

Login iPad App

If you want to use the iPad app, the observer interface, you can download it here or alternatively simply search for "Applysia" in the App Store.
You will be informed about new versions in the App. We recommend that you always use the latest version. You are welcome to check the current version of our App on your iPad via this link.
You can now log in to the observer interface (App). To do this, first enter your workspace name - i.e. the domain of your organization - in the "Workspace" field. This was provided to you by your (organization) administrator in your invitation email. Typically, the workspace name is your company name.



Now you have two options to log in to the App:
1. Log in with your access data: 
  1. Under "Email" enter your email address.
  2. Under "Password" you enter your selected password. You can also optionally have your password displayed by clicking on the "eye icon". This will make it easier for you to spot and improve typos.
If you have forgotten your password, click on "New Password" and follow the instructions.
You can then reset your password within the App. For this purpose, a six-digit code will be sent to you by email, which you can enter in the App to subsequently assign a new password.
You also have the option to change the workspace if you want to log in to a different workspace. To do this, click on "Change Workspace".

2. Log in via Single Sign On:
You can log in to the Applysia App using the same credentials you already use to log in to your computer or to log in for services at work, such as Microsoft Azure Active Directory or via Google. To do this, click the "Log in with [...]" button and log in to the Applysia App in the usual way. 
You can only log in via Single Sign On if this function has previously been activated in the Cockpit by your Organization Administrator. You can find out more about this here.
If you want to log in to the App for the first time, follow the instructions in the invitation email you received from your (Organization) Administrator.

Login Web-App

To log in to the Web-App, enter "[YourWorkspaceName].applysia.app" in your browser line.
The Applysia App, the observer interface and the Cockpit, the administration interface, have been combined into a single platform. This means that the login - both for the observer interface and for the administration interface - takes place via "[YourWorkspaceName].applysia.app". By integrating the observer and administration interface into a single platform, you can easily switch back and forth between the two interfaces via links within the respective interface if required.
Please note that the former login for the Web-App via "applysia.app" no longer works as usual. A field will appear under this URL in which you can enter the name of your workspace and you will then be redirected to the "[YourWorkspaceName].applysia.app" login page.
If you are an Observer/Moderator and not an Administrator, you will automatically be logged into the Web-App, the observer interface. If you are also an Administrator, you will be redirected to your selected start view after logging in and from there you have the option of accessing the administration or observer interface (depending on the start view). You can find more information on setting the start view here. Alternatively, you can also access the observer interface directly via "[YourWorkspaceName].applysia.app/observer_view".

The login then works as described under "Login iPad app" - either via e-mail address and password or using Single Sign On.
You can switch workspaces by entering the name of the other workspace in your browser line ("[YourWorkspaceName].applysia.app").
