Consolidated Matrix

Consolidated Matrix

Relevant for: Normal Observers, Lead Observers, Moderators (see "Observer roles in the App")
In the "Consolidated Matrix" area you can directly compare the consolidated values of the individual Candidates in the competencies.

If you have activated the final consolidation function in the Cockpit and have defined final competency proficiencies in the single view of the Candidates, these values will be displayed here. Otherwise you will see the values of the consolidation. For more information on setting the final values in the single view, click here.

The two tables can be exported and saved by clicking on the "save icon" on the far right.

You also have the option to export all data from the Conference as a CSV file. To do this, click on the "Export CSV" button in the top right corner. Then you can download, send, etc. the file.

You have two options to compare the Candidates.
  1. Under "Rating" you can see the consolidated or finalized values of all Candidates per competency, as well as various mean values.
  2. Under "Ranking", a ranking of the Candidates per competency is created on the basis of the rating.

Rating

In the “Consolidated Matrix” under "Rating" you can see the consolidated ratings or - if you have activated this feature in the Cockpit - the finalized competency ratings from the Candidates single view of the Conference. On the left side, all competencies that were observed and assessed in the exercises are listed individually. In the header you can see all Candidates of the Assessment. If you have stored Competency Clusters in the Cockpit, logically related competencies are displayed categorized by clusters in the matrix.

In addition, different mean values are formed in each case.
  1. On the right side, you can see the automatically calculated averages of the consolidated or finalized ratings of each competency across all Candidates.
  2. In the bottom row you can see the mean values of the consolidated or finalized ratings of the individual Candidates
  3. At the bottom right, the mean value of all consolidated or finalized values given in the Assessment is calculated, independent of competencies and Candidates.
  4. If you have stored Competency Clusters in the Cockpit, you will also see the average values of the consolidated or finalized ratings of all competencies within a cluster for the individual Candidates in the row of the corresponding cluster.
The various mean values are displayed to you either in numerical values or - if you have activated this feature in the Cockpit - in the individually stored symbols or characters. You can find out more information about the scale labels instead of numbers here.

The different values of the table are displayed in different colors.
Competencies that are within the previously defined target range are shown in
green. Competencies outside the target range are shown in yellow. An orange color indicates that the Candidate's competency is more than one scale point outside the target range. The mean values of each individual competency across all Candidates are shown in the same color pattern.
If you have selected the scale labeling with symbols or characters instead of numbers, the separate column with the target profiles will not be displayed here.
If you click on the individual table fields, a legend is displayed in each case (not for the mean values). You can then see in which exercises the respective competency was assessed and how the respective Candidate was assessed in this competency in the individual exercises. Here, however, you will not see all individual values, but only the consolidated values of the individual exercises.

You also have the option to view the individual results of all Candidates. To do so, click on the "Details button"  below the consolidated matrix under the respective values of the individual Candidates. A new page will open (see "Individual view of Candidates"). In addition, here you have the possibility to set a final value for each competency of the Candidate individually.

Only if the final consolidation function has been previously activated in the Cockpit, you can enter the final competency values. You can learn more about this here.

The table is scrollable sideways.

Ranking

In the “Consolidated Matrix” under "Ranking", a ranking of the Candidates is automatically formed on the basis of the consolidated or finalized values - per competency and also across competencies.
On the left side, all competencies that were observed and assessed in the exercises are listed individually. In the header you can see all Candidates of the Assessment. In the bottom line there is also an overall ranking of the Candidates.

If you have stored Competency Clusters in the Cockpit, logically related competencies are displayed in the matrix, categorized by clusters. In the row of the higher-level cluster you can see the ranking of all competencies within a cluster for the individual Candidates.

The different fields of the table are displayed in different color shades.  The intensity of the colors depends on the ranking of the Candidates. High rankings are displayed in darker shades and lower rankings in lighter shades.

You also have the option to view the individual results of all Candidates. To do so, click on the "Details button"  below the consolidated matrix under the respective values of the individual Candidates. A new page will open (see "Individual view of Candidates"). Also, here you can set a final value for each competency of the Candidate individually.

Only if the final consolidation function has been previously activated in the Cockpit, you have the possibility to enter the final competency value here. You can learn more about this here.

The table is scrollable sideways.
