Profile

Profile

Relevant for: Normal observers, lead observers, moderators (see "User roles")

Under "Profile," the rating profiles of the individual observers as well as the consolidated rating profile can be displayed graphically. At the same time, you can also view the consolidated values that apply to the respective competency of this assessment (see “Consolidate”).

At the top, you can see the legend of the chart. Click on the names of individual observers to show or hide the corresponding rating profiles in the chart. The name will be grayed out when the profile is hidden.

Export the chart by clicking on the “Save icon” in the top right corner.
This icon is only visible to you if you have been granted permission by the (workspace) administrator to export files from the assessment. Further information on the authorizations of the user roles can be found here.

On the vertical axis, the individual competencies observed in the respective exercise are displayed. Particularly long competencies are abbreviated. Click on the abbreviated competencies to view the full competency names in a tooltip.

On the horizontal axis, you will find the rating scale. Here, either numbers or the custom-defined symbolic/character labels are displayed, depending on the settings you previously made in the administration interface.

In the chart, you can see the different profile lines and points in various person-specific colors:
  1. Your own observer profile
  2. The consolidated profile
    1. For competencies that have not yet been (fully) consolidated, you either won’t see a profile or it will be displayed in gray.
    2. For competencies that have already been (fully) consolidated, the profile will be displayed in green.
  3. Individual profiles of other observers
When you click on individual profile points, the legend will be displayed:
  1. The full name of the competency,
  2. The consolidated value (visible to all (silent) observers),
  3. The values of the individual observers (visible only to lead observers & moderators).
Observers who have not provided any ratings will not be displayed here.
If you use symbols/characters as custom scale labels, this legend will not be displayed when you click on individual profile points.

If values overlap in the chart (e.g., because two observers rated the candidate the same), the respective profile points will be displayed in different colors (see legend).

Depending on the observer role(s) assigned to you, you can use different functions of the observer interface (see “User roles in the observer interface”). There is also a difference between the roles in the profile, which will be explained individually below.

Normal Observer

Relevant for: Normal Observer (see "User roles")
If you are a normal observer (not a lead Observer or moderator), you can initially only see your own ratings in the profile (on all pages).

Once the lead observer has entered consolidated values into the observer interface and synchronized the ratings, you will also be able to see these values in the profile. To do so, click on "Refresh Consolidation" at the top left of the "Consolidate" section. However, you will still not be able to see the ratings of the other observers.

Silent Observer

Relevant for: Silent observer (see "User roles")
If you are a silent observer, you will initially not be able to see any ratings in the profile.

Once the lead observer has entered consolidated values into the observer interface and synchronized the ratings, you can see these values in the profile. To do so, click on "Refresh Consolidation" at the top left of the "Consolidate" section. However, you will never be able to see the ratings of the other observers.

Lead Observer & Moderator

Relevant for: Lead observer, moderator (see "User roles")
If you are a lead observer (possible only with an activated scheduler) or moderator, you can see your own ratings and the ratings of all other observers in the profile of the respective exercise.
Moderators can do this across exercises and candidates, while lead observers can only do this for the exercise(s) and candidate(s) they are assigned to.
