You have selected an assessment to edit and are located in the navigation menu on the left under "Journey" - "Phases".
By default, the phases are disabled. To enable and edit the phases, click the slider on the right.
Using the phases, you can divide the assessment process into the steps "Before the Assessment", "Assessment", and "After the Assessment".
In the top row within a phase, you will see the date range that applies to the corresponding phase; this is dependent on the start and end date of the assessment (see "Create assessments").
When duplicating an assessment, the phases and steps are also copied.
Edit phases
To edit a phase, click the "pencil" icon in the corresponding phase. A pop-up window will open where you can add or adjust the "Headline" and "Description". A default text is already provided.
Click "Save" to secure your texts or click "Cancel" to discard your changes.
In order to use the phases in the candidate interface, an assignment of steps is required. To do this, click on the "Add Step" button in the respective phase. In the subsequent pop-up window, you can select the available steps with a click. You will then see a colored border around the selected step.
You can only assign a step to a single phase. If you have already assigned the step, it cannot be added to another phase.
Click "Save" to confirm your selection or choose "Cancel".
After selecting a step, it will be displayed in the overview of the assessment phases. Click on the three dots on the right and select "Delete" to remove the assignment.
In the phases before and during the assessment, you can use the "Self assessment" and the "Test integrations" (see "Self assessment" and "Tests"). The self assessment and the tests can only be assigned once and only in one phase.
For the phase after the assessment, only the "Self assessment" can be added.
Once you activate the self assessment when creating or editing your competence model, it will automatically be assigned as a step during the assessment (see "Self assessment"). If you deactivate the self assessment again, it will be removed from the phase.Tests can only be assigned to a phase if they have been previously created for the candidate (see "Tests"). The self assessment and the tests can only be completed by the candidates in the candidate interface when the corresponding phase with the step is active.
In the "Assessment" phase, you will also see the step "Assessment Exercises". This step represents the exercises stored in the Competency-Exercise-Matrix (see "Competency-Exercise-Matrix"). This step is provided by default and cannot be edited or moved. It is there to support the planning process.
Only the phases for which you have assigned steps are displayed in the candidate interface. The "Assessment" phase is always displayed in the candidate interface due to the "Assessment Exercises" (see "Homepage").
Phases can be edited at any time.
If a step is removed from a completed phase, only the step and the information about the completion status will be removed. Recorded results remain intact.
The "Assessment" phase begins on the start date of the assessment. The phase becomes inactive after the end date of the assessment - provided no documents are shared anymore.
If there are still shared files, the phase remains active.
A phase is marked as completed when all steps of a phase are completed.
If the assessment is already in the status "Completed", editing is no longer possible.
