Report Templates: Placeholder

Report Templates: Placeholder

Relevant for: Organisation Administrators, Administrators (see "User Roles in the Cockpit").
In this article you will find an overview of all placeholders that you can integrate into your report template. The corresponding placeholders are then "filled" in the final report with all the information that you have previously stored and entered in the assessment. After you have created this template once, you can generate all candidate result reports at the click of a button.
In the appendix (at the bottom of this page) you will find a sample report template that you can download. You can use this as a starting point and adapt and edit it according to your individual requirements. The template is intended to support you in creating your own report templates.
On the right side next to this article you will see a navigation menu. Under "On this page" all categories are listed, for which there are placeholders. By clicking on one of the categories you can navigate directly to the desired place in this overview.

Within each category, you will first see an overview of the available loops and placeholders in that category, followed by a practical application example.
On the left side, the placeholder is integrated into an example text, just as you do in your report template. On the right side you can see the result in the report, where the placeholders are replaced by actual information and content.
Depending on the category, you will also see a short note text that contains category-specific information.

Formatting options for the logos

You can use the following formatting options for both placeholders, {%ac_logo} and {%workspace_logo}. The formatting options are only shown below using the placeholder {%ac_logo} as an example.
Placeholder

Image is centered in the finished report
{%ac_logo | size:200:100}
Size that the image should have in the report (format width:height in pixels). The numbers in the placeholder can be freely selected
Please note that specifying a certain size may result in distortion of the logo
{%ac_logo | maxSize:200:100}
Size that the image should have in the report while retaining the original aspect ratio (format width:height in pixels). The numbers in the placeholder can be freely selected
Please note that setting the fixed size (placeholder 2) can distort the originally uploaded logo, as the individual settings may change the proportions. We therefore recommend that you use the maxSize placeholder to avoid distortion.
Example

Charts

You can also use placeholders to add diagrams to your report. To do this, integrate a desired diagram into your report template in Word or PowerPoint. Then place the placeholder in the title of the diagram. The labeling of the data series is automatically filled with the assessment-specific information when the reports are created in order to avoid confusion when labeling. Further information on the charts can be found here.
In the appendix (at the bottom of this page) you will find a Word document in which various diagrams and placeholders are combined. You can download the file, copy the desired diagram template and integrate it into your report.
