The Applysia Observer interface is available as a browser-based, device-independent web version. 


In the observer interface, you can make typed and competency-based notes; Also you can easily switch between the observer and administration interfaces, provided you have the appropriate user roles.

Login web-based Observer Interface

To log into the web-based observer interface, enter the following URL in your browser’s address bar: “[YourWorkspaceName].applysia.app”.

If you are an observer/moderator and not an administrator, you will be automatically logged into the observer interface. If you are also an administrator, after logging in, you will be redirected to your selected start view and will have the option to access either the administration or the observer interface (depending on the start view). For more information on setting the start view, click here. Alternatively, you can also access the observer interface directly via “[YourWorkspaceName].applysia.app/observer_view”.

You have two options to log into the observer interface:

  1. Log in with your credentials:

  • Enter your email address under "Email".

  • Enter your chosen password under "Password".

If you have forgotten your password, click on "Forgot Password?" and follow the instructions. You can reset your password within the observer interface. A six-digit code will be sent to you by email, which you can enter in the observer interface to set a new password.
Check the box next to “Stay logged in” to save your credentials temporarily and avoid having to log in each time.

  1. Log in via Single Sign-On:

You can log into the Applysia observer interface using the same credentials you use to log into your computer or workplace services, such as Microsoft Entra ID or Google. Click on the “Log in with [...]” button and log in to the observer interface as usual.

You can only log in via Single Sign-On if this feature has been previously activated by your workspace owner in the administration interface. Learn more about this here.

If you have enabled multi-factor authentication, you will also need to enter a one-time password after logging in. If a Workspace Owner has enabled mandatory multi-factor authentication and you have not yet linked a device to your account, you will be prompted to link one after logging in.

From this login page, you can also access the Candidate Portal. Click on the corresponding “Candidate Portal” button.

You can switch workspaces by clicking the “Switch Workspace” button. You will be redirected to a new page where you can enter the name of the workspace. Click “Next” to be redirected to the login page for the new workspace. Alternatively, you can also enter the name of the other workspace in your browser's address bar (“[YourWorkspaceName].applysia.app”) and log in as usual.

If you are logging into the observer interface for the first time, follow the instructions in the invitation email you received from your workspace owner.
